When did you join ERA? I joined the LSSD Group in December 05 and ERA in April 09

What were you doing before joining ERA? National Sales Manager – Hoppe UK, Chubb/Union Locks before that. I’ve just celebrated 20 years in the industry!

What is your favourite / least favourite part of your job? 
The favourite part of my job is definitely over-achieving on tough targets and the respect and recognition that it brings. I also enjoy being involved in every area of the business; no day is ever the same as the last  
And my least favourite is not being available for everyone all the time - just one pair of hands!

What are your hobbies / general interest?  
Liverpool FC (experiencing Champions League success in Istanbul 05 was a trip never to forget and travelling to away games with the England Members’ club). Golf, Formula 1, England Cricket, Skiing, Karting, distance running

What did you want to be when you were young? A rally driver

What's your most embarrassing moment?
Euro 2004 Portugal, Eng v France 1-0 up singing my heart out with 70 minutes to go, smack bang in the middle of the French end, then its starts…Beckham misses a penalty, Zidane equalizes on 90 minutes and then again 3 minutes later and wins the game. Having 25,000 French fans bouncing around me was no fun!

What's your all time favourite film? The Great Escape

What song would you sing at karaoke? I wouldn’t!

What three luxury items would you take on a desert island? My fiancé Voni, Sky TV & my IPod

What was the first record you bought?  No idea

Who would you like to play in a film about your life? Del Boy

What's your ideal way to spend a Saturday? Early tee off, watch Liverpool win, then a meal out with Voni and too many beers

What's the biggest challenge you face in your current role?
Spotting the signs of a sustainable recovery in the economy and responding exactly at the right time.
