The
ERA Locca really was the star of the show at the Chartered Institute
of Housing Exhibition in Harrogate last month. You couldn’t
turn a corner without coming face to face with the latest in remote
access control from ERA Products, The Door Lock People.
Following
its launch last year, demand for Locca has been strong. This is
supported by its promotion on no less than FIVE stands at this
year’s CIH Exhibition. Door manufacturers Permadoor, Rockdoor,
Securidor and Homesafe Lindman were all offering Locca as a security
solution, and ERA Products were naturally taking the opportunity
to demonstrate its features and benefits.
Also
being shown for the first time at the exhibition was the new ERA
Locca Connecta. Specifically designed to enhance the existing
Locca range, the Connecta Intercom offers the added advantage
of allowing the user to determine who is at the door prior to
allowing access.
Simple
to install without the need for wiring, this stylish system comprises
an external wall-mounted speech panel, a handset and handset charger.
This enables the user to speak to visitors and allow access to
their home from a range of up to 200m, making it the optimum security
solution for the elderly or disabled or simply the latest must-have
in technological advancements for the modern home.
