Products, The Door Lock People, will be making a new connection
with visitors to this year’s Security Live 07 Exhibition
thanks to the new ERA Locca Connecta, the latest addition to their
remote access control range.
The
current Locca range provides security at the touch of a button
via a remote controlled key fob similar to those found on today’s
cars, removing the need to use keys or turn handles. ERA’s
latest development, the new Locca Connecta, is the perfect accessory
to the Locca range. Designed to enhance the existing system, the
Connecta offers the added advantage of allowing the user to determine
who is at the door prior to allowing access.
Simple
to install without the need for wiring, the Locca Connecta comprises
an external wall-mounted speech panel, a handset and a handset
charger. This system enables the user to greet visitors and allow
access to their home from a range of up to 200m, making it the
optimum security solution for the elderly or disabled, or simply
the latest must-have in technological advancements for the modern
home.
ERA
will also be helping locksmiths to block out van crime with their
latest security product, the Block Lock. It’s a simple design
that doesn’t require drilling and can be fitted in minutes
to the rear door of most vans. And as this portable solution does
not mark the van, it is ideal for providing additional security
to hired vans as well as owned ones.
