ERA's CYLINDER ILLUMINATOR LIGHTS UP THE INDUSTRY AWARDS

It was a successful day for ERA Products, The Door Lock People, when one of their latest new inventions - the Cylinder Illuminator - was a silver winner at The Industry Awards 2007.

Entered into the Security Products category by one of their customers, the Cylinder Illuminator was launched in 2006 as a solution to an everyday problem. This inventive product lights up the rim cylinder on your front door as you approach, enabling you to pinpoint exactly where the keyhole is. The built-in sensor only works in the dark and is triggered from a distance of about 5 metres.

The light stays on for 8 seconds before automatically switching off.
The Cylinder Illuminator comes in two stylish finishes, with the classic brass effect model complemented by a contemporary chrome effect version.

Speaking after the awards, which are organised by DIY Week, Housewares Magazine and Hardware & Garden Review, ERA’s Marketing Manager Stephanie Sullivan said, “Our Cylinder Illuminator is one of those inventions that makes you wonder why it hasn’t been thought of before. It was brought to us as an idea from a local student and we worked with him to design and develop it ready for launch, making its recognition at this year’s awards even more special.”
