| ERA,
The Door Lock People, were buzzing with the sound
of innovation at this year’s DIY & Garden
Show, thanks to their newest invention - the ERA Locca
Connecta. The stand was kept busy throughout the show
with customers actively requesting demonstrations
of the new system.
The
ERA Locca Connecta created so much excitement because
when combined with ERA’s Locca Multi and Access
systems, it becomes a wireless intercom - allowing
homeowners to speak to visitors and check who is at
the door before letting them in from a range of 200
metres. This makes it ideal for people with mobility
issues, or simply the latest must-have accessory for
the modern home.
Visitors
to the DIY & Garden Show this year were among
the first people to experience the next generation
in multi point locking. ERA are first to market with
the Vectis, a revolutionary cylinder-free MPL, which
takes its name from the Latin word for ‘lever’
as it combines modern multi point locking with traditional
lever technology.
ERA
took the opportunity to familiarise customers with
other areas of the ERA brand, by showcasing their
comprehensive range of Crompton Ironmongery, including
traditional door hinges, bolts and an impressive selection
of general fittings for a multitude of everyday applications.
Also
making a well-received first appearance at the show,
was the new and improved ERA Block Lock, which generated
interest from customers thanks to its enhanced bracket
design making it suitable for vans, garden sheds and
much, much more.
Look
out for the ERA Vectis and other new products from
ERA, The Door Lock People, in 2008.
