The next generation of multi point lock will have its first outing at the forthcoming ALO CPD event, being held at The Holiday Inn, Stratford, from 29th to 31st January.

ERA Products, The Door Lock People, are first to market with an innovative cylinder-free multi point lock, which combines ERA’s traditional lever technology used in the manufacturer of mortice locks for centuries with today’s need for modern locking systems.

The patented Vectis - which takes its name from the latin word for ‘lever’ – has been designed and tested at ERA to meet the needs of Secured By Design. The Vectis lock features three robust deadlocking security hooks, together with two pre-compression rollers for weathersealing. And the 5-lever operation eliminates the need for euro cylinder operation thereby offering enhanced security.

ERA Products will also be taking the opportunity to highlight their comprehensive range of security solutions with Secured By Design accreditation, including the Fortress Classic Mortice Locks, the Fortress 5 Lever and Euro Cylinder Mortice range, and the new BS8621:2004 Keyless Egress versions of both the Mortice Lock and Nightlatch range.
