Rising fuel bills and increased manufacturing costs are the price we all pay for climate change. Around half of all CO2 emissions arise from buildings. We design our products to provide the draught free, insulated windows and doors that allow you to control the temperature in your house and to save energy. Our composite doors will not warp, twist, swell or rot so they won’t let in the wind and weather.
Doors
From October 2010 it is a legal requirement that
your replacement entrance doors and frames comply with Approved Document
L of the Building Regulations for England and Wales that requires
doorsets to meet high levels of insulation.
We design
manufacturing processes to use low energy processes and renewable
resources wherever practical. This helps us save money and provide you
with competitively priced products. We also work with our supply chain
partners to maintain the highest environmental standards.
For
example by not importing or making standard doors that create waste when
they are trimmed to fit we not only save on CO2 emissions, it allows us
to guarantee durability, reliability and consistency. That in turn
lengthens the time before a door needs replacing, again saving resources
and money. Products that last are more environmentally efficient than
those which need regular replacement.
