Repair Lock

If you’ve ever been faced with a broken or damaged multi-point lock, you’ll know the difficulties of trying to find a suitable replacement. The Repair Lock replaces most existing multi-point locks fitted to PVCu doors, so it’s a “fit for purpose” solution with a high level of security. It will fit a conventional 16mm wide euro groove with a 35mm back set. The lock can be cut to length to suit a wide range of door heights and uses a traditional euro cylinder so the existing cylinder can be re-used if in good condition.

The keep strip conceals previous installation holes and does not rely on the original hardware and fixings. The keep strip packers are universal and are adjustable on site to suit the door frame profile. The strip is suitable for swing in or out designs and because it is non-handed the keep itself is adjustable for seal compression or door distortion.

Conventional adjustable rollers are used for seal compression and high tensile steel T bolts with adjustable keep plates are used for anti separation. The innovative design of this product means that the T bolts can be shimmed to suit different air-gap dimensions, dependent on application. The lock and keep are, of course, corrosion protected to meet the latest international specifications.

ERA’s new electronic multi-point lock linked to varying types of access control units, offers straight forward, affordable and convenient options that will enhance security for an extensive range of domestic, community and commercial properties.

Many electronic keeps commonly used with access control units do not provide a high level of security. However, the new electronic multi-point lock offered by ERA complies to the relevant security standards PAS23/24 and is Secured by Design for use in composite doors, so high security is guaranteed.

The ERA lock is available for front doors or main entry/exit doors. As no lever is required on the outside of the door this means that when the door is closed dead bolts automatically fire into the door frame keeps, leaving the door in a locked position. This removes the need to lift handles and turn keys.

The door can be opened by simple use of the lever handle on the inside of the door or by the innovative ERA Locca system, for security at the touch of a button. Additionally, a conventional key can be used to dead lock the door for added security and total peace of mind.

However, for more complex requirements the ERA security lock can be incorporated into any conventional Access Control system.
